Hi! I’m Suneé Le Roux, a South African author of contemporary and high fantasy stories that blend myth, magic, and adventure. I live in South Africa with my Welsh husband and our young wizard-in-training.
My love for fantasy began when I was ten years old and discovered The Hobbit. From there, I devoured The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and the worlds of authors like David Eddings, Robert Jordan, Ursula K Le Guin, Robin Hobb, and George R.R. Martin. Those stories inspired me to create my own worlds filled with wonder and danger — and to share them with readers who love fantasy as much as I do.
Writing has always been my passion, and through my Mythical Menagerie series, I explore the hidden magic that exists just beyond the edges of the ordinary world. My mission as a storyteller is to infuse the mundane with magic, reminding readers that there’s more to reality than meets the eye.
